Assessment & treatment

 As a speech language pathologist I am able to assess/treat a variety of speech language disorders through formal and informal assessments. If a speech language disorder is identified, a customized plan of care will be created and tailored to your child's individualized needs.

Communication

Communication is key to interacting with the world around us. Communication gives us the independence to share novel ideas, thoughts and feelings. It can be frustrating when something impedes the way we communicate with the others. 


I have worked in a variety of pediatric speech therapy settings including clinics, schools and out patient rehabilitation. I am elated to currently be in private practice, where I can dedicate more time to my clients and their families.


I truly believe that every child is perfect, but I know from my own personal experience, that we all need a little help sometimes. 


I am happy to help you navigate the assessment and therapy process, even if it's not with me.

SERVICES/FEES

Assessment

Full speech and language assessments are $250 and are approximately 90 minutes. Assessment includes examination of language, articulation, voice, fluency and oral mechanism exam. Specific assessments examining only one area of speech or language, vary in price. Please contact us for additional information.

speech Therapy

Individual in person speech therapy session are $80 for 50 minutes. Therapy sessions are customized to address your individual communication needs.

INSURANCE

Birdie Speech Therapy is a private pay practice with a fee-for-service model and is not currently affiliated with any insurance companies.
